When Janine and Dougie fell in love they thought it would be for ever.

Fifteen years later their relationship is well and truly over, their daughter Stevie their one remaining connection.

Stevie is on the cusp of adulthood. At sixteen, she’s not quite a child, but not quite grown up: a dangerous age. But it’s only during a birthday celebration in Spain, when she gets too close to one of Dougie’s best friends, that her parents realise just how dangerous.

With friendships shattered and trusts betrayed, Janine and Dougie – brought together in Stevie’s moment of crisis – know they must see beyond the past if they’re to secure their daughter’s future. But even with such a lot at stake, can a relationship with so many complications ever have a future.

    Hello there,

Thank you so much for visiting my books on Amazon. I love writing about the dramas that we all face in life and our constant search to find love and happiness.

My stories are set in England, but often include glamorous locations abroad. They are all about relationships within families, and between friends and lovers, showing what happens when things go unexpectedly wrong (or right) as they so often do! My characters have ups and downs, sometimes experiencing real blows, but I am both a romantic and an optimist so it gives me such joy to find that positive happy ending – keeping you guessing as I go!

For me, reading a good book is like discovering a new best friend. My biggest hope is that my stories might feel like that for you.

    Happy reading!

The Wedding Dress is story of a family and a special dress, handed down from mother to daughter, during times of fortune, loss, tragedy and victory, by the world’s favourite storyteller, Danielle Steel.

The Deveraux family were among the most important members of 1920s San Francisco society, and the wedding of their daughter Eleanor to wealthy banker Alexander Allen would be the highlight of the 1929 social calendar.

The wedding, held in the family’s magnificent Pacific Heights mansion, was everything they’d hoped, and Eleanor’s dress was a triumph. But the dream life, along with the most perfect honeymoon in Europe, was about to come to an end when Alex received news of the Wall Street Crash. It appeared that the family had lost everything . . .

In the years that followed, the Deveraux lived through periods of huge social and political change. What helped to unite them was the beautiful wedding dress, first worn by Eleanor, which remained a family heirloom and continued to hold a special place in the hearts of a family desperate to survive the turmoil and changing fortunes of the times.

    Brought to you by Penguin.

Anna has just lost her taste for the Big Apple…

She has a life to envy. An apartment in New York. A well-meaning (too well-meaning?) partner. And a high-flying job in beauty PR. Who wouldn’t want all that?

    Anna, it turns out.

Trading a minor midlife crisis for a major life event, she switches the skyscrapers of Manhattan for the tiny Irish town of Maumtully (population 1,217), helping old friends Brigit and Colm set up a luxury coastal retreat.

Tougher than it sounds. Newflash: the locals hate the idea. So much so, there have been threats – and violence.

Anna, however, worked in the beauty industry. There’s no ugliness she hasn’t seen. No wrinkle she can’t smooth over.

There’s just one fly in the ointment – old flame Joey Armstrong.

He’s going to be her wingman.

Never mind their chequered history. Never mind what might have been.

Because no matter how far you go, your mistakes will still be waiting for you . . .

‘Furiously funny and stealthily profound. There’s so much depth, but reading it made me feel happier and lighter than I have in ages – it’s sexy, smart, wise, touching and fun’ Daisy Buchanan

‘Keyes’s is so good at upping the tension in will they/won’t they scenarios, keeping the characterisation rich and the jokes frequent. She somehow keeps it both light and intensely important at the same time’ i

‘Beautiful and moving, a gay Romeo and Juliet set in the brutal world of Glasgow’s housing estates’ – The Observer

From the Booker Prize-winning author of Shuggie Bain, a vivid portrayal of working-class life in 80s Glasgow, and the deeply moving story of the dangerous first love of two young men.

Born under different stars, Protestant Mungo and Catholic James live in a hyper-masculine world. They are caught between two of Glasgow’s housing estates, where young working-class men divide themselves along sectarian lines, and fight territorial battles for the sake of reputation.

They should be sworn enemies if they’re to be seen as men at all, and yet as they begin to fall in love, they dream of escape, and Mungo must work hard to hide his true self from all those around him…

Douglas Stuart’s Young Mungo is a gripping and revealing story about the meaning of masculinity, the push and pull of family, the violence faced by so many queer people, and the dangers of loving someone too much.

‘Reilly’s narration, especially when he’s voicing the people in Mungo’s life who hurt him, is full of barely repressed violence. But Reilly also captures Mungo’s wonder, love, and irrepressible softness’ – Audiofile magazine
